Rebecca and Jeff Engagement

This past Saturday we had probably the nicest day of May for the wedding of Rebecca and Jeff.  They were married outside in the gazebo at the Northport Marina and then we had just a short walk to Willowbrook Mill for their awesome reception.   I can't wait to share some of their wedding day images but in the mean time here are some images from their Engagement Session.  We started at the Grand Traverse commons and then wrapped up at West End Beach.  www.carlsonphotographytc.com ~ www.tcslowmotionbooth.com

Kristy's Family and Friends
Friday, August 02, 2013

I met Kristy and her family and friends a few weeks ago for an evening portrait session.  We started around their home and then headed to a beach.  It was a beautiful night and they were a pleasure to photograph.  You know you have good friends when you include them in your family portraits.  We all need friends like that don't we.  And then you have Kristy's adorable daughter.  I'm not sure what she thought of this bald photographer but my goodness, the camera loved her!  She was so cute and had so many amazing expressions.  Here are just a few images from our session together:www.carlsonphotographytc.com

First Senior Session of the Year
Thursday, April 05, 2012

I had the priveledge of spening an evening with twins Careen and Kelvin at a local beach here in Traverse City.  Hard to believe the kind of weather we had in March but it game them an opportunity to get some great images as they prepare to graduate.  Careen and Kelvin were able to take advantage of my "BFF" senior session which allows two senior to share a session, get the same great individual shots as well as shots together all while saving some money as well.  Please check my website for current pricing on my Senior Sessions at www.carlsonphotographytc.com.  Here are some of the results:

Where's the snow?
Monday, January 30, 2012

Tara and her family were excited to move to Traverse City in anticipation of some great, white winter weather.  We scheduled a December portrait session that would start by their Christmas tree and then head outside to capture some of that white, beautiful northern Michigan winter snow.  One problem, where was the snow?  We pushed their session back a week and we were fortunate to get a dusting of snow.  That was all it took for get these great winter images and just in time for their family Christmas card. www.carlsonphotographytc.com
